When two of Philadelphia’s most respected education nonprofits — Philadelphia Futures and Steppingstone Scholars — agreed to merge, they needed a brand that would energize the city into helping underrepresented students graduate high school and achieve economic mobility. The new organization needed to communicate with donors, partners, and educators — but it also had to build hype among the students it aimed to serve.

As Creative Director, I led the creation of a brand that put student dreams and success at the forefront. Through interviews, focus groups, surveys, and deep exploration of Philadelphia’s educational landscape, my team built a name, story, and style that energized. The result: Heights Philadelphia — a vibrant brand launched with a community event and city-wide buzz, backed by a new website, marketing suite, and bold visual system that shows students they’re not just supported — they’re believed in.
